How do I open a QR code on a MacBook?
Choose a QR image, or copy a screenshot and press ⌘ + V on this page. When the QR link is decoded, you can open the website in the current tab.
Does it work on Windows laptops?
Yes. Drag an image into Chrome or Edge, or use Ctrl + V to paste a screenshot. No camera or separate app is needed.
Are my images stored?
Files are processed on this device until you choose cloud storage. When you consent and save a Studio document, its image or PDF source, QR contents, positions and edits are stored privately with your account. Permanent document deletion also removes the source file; it is separate from the design library’s 30-day trash. Publishing a page exposes its title, description, buttons and supplied Wi-Fi details to anyone. Unpublish to stop public access. With your consent, link checks contact selected URLs from our server and store addresses, responses and check times with your account. Destinations can see the checking server’s connection information. Contact support to request account and data deletion.
Why is my QR code not being recognized?
Keep the entire code and its white border in the image. Blurry, tilted or cropped codes can be hard to read. If an image contains several codes, crop around just one.
Does every QR code link to a website?
No. QR codes can contain text, Wi-Fi settings or email addresses. Only valid HTTP and HTTPS addresses can be opened here. Other content is displayed so you can copy it.
Can I scan several codes at once?
This version reads one QR code from one image at a time. If there are several codes, crop around the one you want.
