FAQ

How do I open a QR code on a MacBook?

Choose a QR image, or copy a screenshot and press ⌘ + V on this page. When the QR link is decoded, you can open the website in the current tab.

Does it work on Windows laptops?

Yes. Drag an image into Chrome or Edge, or use Ctrl + V to paste a screenshot. No camera or separate app is needed.

Are my images stored?

Your images and decoded content are processed only in browser memory. QRhop does not send them to a server or save them. Leaving the page or scanning another image clears the previous result.

Why is my QR code not being recognized?

Keep the entire code and its white border in the image. Blurry, tilted or cropped codes can be hard to read. If an image contains several codes, crop around just one.

Does every QR code link to a website?

No. QR codes can contain text, Wi-Fi settings or email addresses. Only valid HTTP and HTTPS addresses can be opened here. Other content is displayed so you can copy it.

Can I scan several codes at once?

This version reads one QR code from one image at a time. If there are several codes, crop around the one you want.
